Complete switchgear units of the KRU-RN series with a voltage rating of 630–1000/10(6) kV.

KRU-RN series switchgear cabinets are designed for the distribution of electrical energy at a voltage of 6 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz, in mining conditions (mines and ore mines) that are not hazardous in terms of gas and dust explosion.
The KRU-RN series cabinets comply with the requirements of GOST 24754-81 (regarding requirements for complete switchgear cabinets for voltages above 1200 V) and GOST 12.2.007.4-96.
THE KRU-RN CABINETS PROVIDE:

• operational local manual switching on and off, as well as indication of the switching position (“ON” or “OFF”) of the high-voltage circuit breaker;
• disconnection of outgoing feeders for inspection and maintenance;
• short-circuit current protection and indication of its operation;
• overload protection and indication of its operation;
• single-phase earth fault protection (for outgoing feeder cabinets) and indication of its operation;
• undervoltage protection and indication of its operation;
• possibility of connecting process automation equipment, remote control, telemetry systems, and additional protection devices installed outside the cabinets;
• monitoring of current values in power circuits;
• single automatic reclosing (AR) or automatic transfer switching (ATS) in two- and three-section underground substations.
